Stretchy week here.  It's the off week from payday, so not really anything going in or out.  Just need to stay on top of the planned dinners, and not give in to impulses and pregnancy cravings that want to dictate eating something unplanned and usually expensive.

Just started my nights off for the week, so if I'm human around 6PM tonight, Mom offered to treat me to dinner out with the ladies from church.  They're throwing us a baby shower next week, so it'd be nice to get to see them before then, as with my work schedule and sleep schedules I've not yet been to church this year.

 

In meetings for most of today, Mustgo Surprise tonight.  Not shopping until tomorrow and then it will only be produce.  Oh, forgot that I have to pick DH a specific salad dressing so he can quite whinning!

morning all...had a relaxing day yesterday..nice not to have to go anywhere..according to the news it is national sweater day!  

though I sat on my bum for hours watching pvr'd shows and playing on the laptop still got the dishes done, scrubbed the bathroom,  did laundry, mopped floors,  turned the oven on self clean so that is done.  normally not home long enough during the day to do it.   dental office phd so made appts in march.  the kids are late but that is because of ds teeth getting knocked out and stitches etc.    got my info for sat work.

suppose to meet my friend for breakfast and then to her family bus to do some accting and then get the kids, reading buddies and don't think ds is up for tae kwon do.   need to get big ziploc bags for camp and deposit some cheques.

no idea what is for dinner yet. leftovers from last nite probably .  $10 out for kids pizza lunch day ..actually used their pocket money from grandma..they get $5 a week from her.  pro d day tomorrow so no school. 

 

Cold day. I walked the neighbor's dog this morning which was nice but some sidewalks were slick with melting and then re-freezing. Supposed to warm up a bit this weekend. I need to go to the postoffice and mail a baby gift to my good friend. I had hoped to visit her (75 miles away) but by the time I get to that, the baby will have outgrown the gift!

Middle DS has a dental appt today, cavities filled. Poor guy, hope he does ok. I checked with insurance as to coverage % and need to follow up with dentist so I know exactly how much this will cost. They are going to do laughing gas (nitrous oxide) to help him and need to check if that is covered under insurance (I'll pay out of pocket as this will help him and the dentist). He has 8 cavities so 4 filled today and then 4 next week. Not sure why he has problems, oldest DS has great teeth. We are focusing on better brushing and flossing.

Inlaws picking oldest DS up from school so won't have to worry about rushing after the appointment. I am leaving DD at daycare to nap. She wouldn't do well waiting at the dentist during naptime. DH has school conferences and won't be home until 7:30 so planning on sloppy joes tonight (or maybe pizza burgers, saw Gayla's recipe). Easy, fast and kids like it.

I have bills to coordinate and pay online. We get paid once a month but get medical and daycare reimbursement 2x a month so plan some bills around those dates. Our cars are full of gas, house has plenty of food so no need to do any extra spending.

DH and I have set the date for our garage sale in early May. MIL wants to bring things over (a blessing, she needs to get rid of things). DH isn't optimistic about her actually parting with anything. But we'll encourage and go from there!

Nothing too exciting going on here today. Working all day. All meals will be from home. Will be spending $20 for meds today-I have to go on blood pressure medication! My doctor said I inherited my Mom's "bad genes".

Woke up to sunshine instead of fog today so that was nice. Daughter has the day off work and is coming over for the day. Today we have to drive to my hometown to get a copy of my birth certificate so I can get my passport. While there we will stop by my parent's house for a visit and to pick up some books for my daughter to read. We all read alot and we exchange books so we save some money. When we are through with them Mom donates them to a charity that helps the town's library. I am hoping to remember to pick some lemons and oranges from the trees this time. Organic and free. I keep forgetting and then I have to buy them at the store. Then we are coming home to watch a movie and have dinner.

I'll be out most of the afternoon.  I made veggie beef soup in the crock pot yesterday and will take some to Daddy.  I also want to check on my niece.  I haven't seen her in a week and she is usually here everyday.  Her cell phone is out of service. I need to get milk, bread, apples and dogfood and need her help at store. I have a dr appt tomorrow about cellulitis.  I think the antibiotics arent strong enough.

BFF is sick so we don't get to have our Thursday night dinner.

    Gray and cold again today ....

    Not a lot going on ...  cleaned a bit of the landfill out of the living room.  Cats knocked some stuff over in the family room, DH didn't pick it up because he says he didn't know where it goes   

  Major change at work ... a product I work on is going away. My job isn't going away ... yet ....

Stayed home all day so no spending except for one bill dropped in the mail box.  I have seeds sprouting, brocolli and brussel sprouts. I am so ready for spring. This has been a werid winter. Was up to 46 today, now down to 30, will be 20 by morning.  Tomorrow, I need to go see my Mom. I think that I will bring Grandaughter age 3. nothing better than a cute kid to bring excitement to the nursing home visit.  Thats it for us, Babs
