Morning everyone, how will you be stretching today?

Waiting for the call to sub. Yesterday was soooo long. Had 8th grade science with just a movie to show and 3 periods off. I prefer it when I am very busy with students, then time flies. I have to get up by 5:40 now that I am subbing middle school as I have to be there by 7:15. I thought I didn't have to be there until 7:30 so I was late yesterday. Not used to getting up so early, will be an adjustment but I still prefer getting out earlier at the middle/high school. Plus with dd getting lice part of me is worried I will get it from the elementary where it is a real problem and bring it home. I dont have it so I doubt I brought it home to dd but one never knows.

So today will be real stretchy. Seeing a friend later today. May go over to another friends to color her hair, not sure. Have a mountain literally of laundry to fold and a mini mountain to wash. Supper will be hot turkey sandwhiches and salad with turkey I froze from the last one I cooked. DH will be cooking as I will be gone.

4given, the schools over here switched the starting time time year. Middle and high school dont start til 8:40 and get out closer to 3:30. Supposedly, the kids do better if they can sleep later. 

Sunny and 34 this morning. Not sure what i am doing today. I got a $50 gift card to Walmart from mypoints. I am planning a trip to use it.
Dont know if that will be today. DD was talking about going to Target so may go with her.  Depends on what time she is coming back. I have to be back for 3:00 for school kids.  I have something to return to target, about $20. Would like to get that done. I ended up with two new popcorn poppers for Christmas. Havent gotten there to return one. Dinner will be something with the leftover pork roast. Not sure what. Have a peacful frugal day, Babs

Cold winter day here. I am helping a neighbor with her dog while she and her DH are out of town. She has a college student staying but 2 days this week the student has class from 8 to 5. So need to let the dog out over my noon hour. If it's nice, I hope to give her a walk! Makes me miss our dog and having a dog in general.

Our stove is fixed! I was a loose wire that came unattached and created an arc (sp?) so when DH would reset the breaker, it would arc and shut it off. Exactly what it's supposed to do! Glad we didn't mess with it any more as there was a burn on the back metal panel (which is good, otherwise sparks would have been able to reach our wood cabinetry and possibly start a fire. So... $99 for service call, labor and a new wire and I have my range back! And the nice man fixed my drawer for free with a new roller-thing. He had one in his truck and saw mine was off the track and missing the piece. We will call this place again (well, hope we don't need repairs anytime soon!). DH had his credit union checkbook and just paid the bill right then.

But, planning for the worst if I didn't have a stove, I planned on a pork roast in my crock pot for dinner. Will shred it for sandwiches tonight and then use the rest in another meal. DH has school conferences tonight so I wanted something fast and easy. I have a pineapple I need to cut up, some carrots and celery and salad to round out the meal.

No other money out for today.

never can see why school would have to start so early ..here it is 830 - 9am mostly....my post yesterday disappeared into the oops something failed so didn't bother to rewrite.

haven't been feeling well for days..think having the flu shot just makes you feel crappy but not full sick.  long night dd had nightmares..ds waking us up so we will all be tired and cranky. dd has been up since 430.   she has a curling fieldtrip so think I will drive her instead of walking there because she won't have the energy.

have to mail my work paperwork and keep doing housework.  picked up kfc for dinner with a coupon and made fries at home yesterday but then no one really ate. dh was rushing because he was late because of traffic so had a pb sandwich for dinner on the run, said he can eat in the car better. my friend and gd came over with her laptop ..the season of fixing laptops viruses etc.  

ds doesn't seem well so think he will stay home. seems like a cold going around.   were suppose to pack for camp yesterday so will do it today instead. 

need to figure out some stuff for guides too.  will be a long day. 

Good Morning,

                        Cold, but sunny here this morning.  We will be eating at home and taking packed lunches . The guys will be driving to work/school. I will not be driving today and DS11 will walk to school.  The guys will pick up a prescription for me on their way home from school.

Yay! Success! Spent  a couple of hours on the phone yesterday with my health ins. company and they reversed a decision to deny a claim for a procedure.  This was a $4K procedure that was getting added to our medical debt-I am so happy-definitely worth 2 hours of my time!

Finishing up some trim work after our weekend of painting the basement. Boys will set all the furniture back when they get home.

Our local State extension office is offering some gardening classes  so I am going to look into them and maybe sign up for a couple as I will be off work until the Fall semester. I have grown some basics like lettuce and herbs, but that is about it-would be nice to have a bit more knowledge in this area.

Have soup cooking in the crockpot and dough for French bread in the breadmaker.

I will walk 1 mile a bit later today and do some stretching exercises that I learned in physical therapy.

Woke up to howling winds and rain this morning so I think I will stay inside today. I just need to fold a load of laundry today and figure out what's for dinner. With DH being out of town all week dinner is not exciting at all, my son is a meat and potatoes kind of guy. It makes dinner a challenge.

Cold and light snow here.  My drive this morning was super slow!  Snowed about three inches overnight on top of my 18in from last week. It's supposed to stay cold all week.  Hectic day at work.  Lots of projects and no help so my motivation is low today.  Teaching a class tonight, that always perks me up.  They've been talking about giving me a second class which would be great - then I won't need my Saturday class as much which is an akward situation.  Dinner will be either pasta or carribbean rice and beans - we'll see which sounds better when I get home.  Have a good day everyone.

 Mom is being operated on again for the umtenth time poor thing I will seeher tonight after work cindy (cheapchic ) is with her knowing she get mom to laugh tell her all the filthyjokes she know to her mom gets laughing over that one and mom needs it.

Me at work on break tonight book keeping job needs to wait until wed. so no spend today.

Dishes to be unloaded out of the dishwasher, laundry going right now.  Got a job interview at 1.30pm today.  It is for a receptionist job at a hearing clinic in Sidney my old stomping grounds.  Wish me luck!!!!  I can do this job ,it really sounds great.  Going to wear a nice black skirt, tights and a black and red top. Business like but dressy at the same time.  Hamburger Helper Lasagna for dinner so that will be easy.  I got gas in the car last night so no interruptions on the way there.  Allowing 45 mins for a 30min journey.

Hope you are feeling a little better Brandy.  Any fall does some damage to our bodies and sometimes the day after we hurt more than the day we had the fall.  Sending you a hug.
