Hi everyone, hope you all had a good weekend. First off I want to report that I am feeling much better physically. The fibro pain is gone during the day and not much at night at this point. That is a huge blessing!

DD's lice appears to be gone. I treated her twice over 3 days, and we have been flat ironing her hair everyday to kill any buggers that may have hung on. Last night I spent 1 1/2 hours flat ironing. After that I had her wash all her covers one more time to be extra safe. The stuff we bagged up will stay in the basement for at least a month.

Today I am an 8th grade science teacher. After work I will run over to the elementary school I have been subbing at alot to let them know I won't be subbing elementary anymore. I have decided to just do middle/high school as it gives me an extra almost hour and a half a day. I also have to pay for girl scout cookies I bought while there. Then after that DD has a doctor appointment. Supper will be calico beans I had made a couple weeks ago and froze. Need to stop at the bank and deposit an insurance check also.

DH and I went to Sams club Saturday to check out the prices and compare them to BJ's. I found the prices better or the same so we got a membership. It was 40.00 but they had a special for a 10.00 gift card with membership. Not bad. I think BJ's has raised their price to 50.00! Didn't get much just stuff we needed(like dh needed a big container of tang!) like butter, granola bars, gravy mix, sugar free hot cocoa for me(I put it in my coffee everymorning, way cheaper than cappucino).

I have folded towels, dried and hung DH's uniforms, and have washed his new t-shirts.  They are in the dryer now.  Everything that needs to be put up is in the laundry room waiting for DH to bring it in.  I can't get up the stairs carrying the baskets.

I had to cook ground beef yesterday that my niece had put in the fridge,  I made some patties and browned some for spaghetti sauce or sloppy joes. We have leftovers in the fridge for lunch.

Hoping not to leave house today. Cellulitis is really painful today so I'll go stretch out on the bed again soon.

    Good Morning Everyone,

Stretching today by cooking and planning meals for the week ahead. Beans in the crockpot, a dozen potatoes baking in the oven, pizza dough in the breadmaker and a dozen eggs cooking in the pan.  Have a meal plan set , we will eat at home all week.

Will not drive anywhere today-will walk to the day-old bread store in a bit. Boys will stop by the library to pick up my books on their way home from school.

One load of laundry done and hung on my drying racks in the basement.

Furnace kept at 62 during the day (turned off at night).

Phone call to my health insurance company to dispute a claim that they denied last month (only just found out).

Will examine the February budget in detail to see if I can make the $$$ stretch any further.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I had trouble posting earlier, hopefully it works now!

Foot of snow here but today in the 40s so melting! Bad part, it will freeze tonight and make things very slick.

Repair man coming at 4:00 to look at my stove. Power went out on Saturday with the blizzard and stove didn't come back on. Breaker switch won't come on, keeps tripping it so something electrical. Hope it is an easy fix! And not expensive!

Dinner tonight, I have things to warm in the microwave so if my stove/oven is not working, we'll eat leftover soups and sandwiches.

No money/spending planned except for the stove.

    Take care everyone!

Today was a stretchy day so far. Had to get up at 4:30 to take my husband to work this morning. He is leaving for a week for a business trip and we didn't want to leave his car in the company parking lot. Someone has been breaking into the cars at night. Spent 3 hours in the car, then I came home and made breakfast. All dinner will be from home today. My house work is done and the dishwasher wil be ran after lunch. I need to discuss with my son what he wants for dinner tonight. I took an 1-1/2 hour nap today and now I feel a little more alive than I did at 4:30 this morning.

Had to put gas in the car, but was running short on time and didn't quite fill up. Traffic was not bad on my to or from work but I suspect the real traffic starts tomorrow. See, the hotels in Indy required a 4-night stay and most of the superbowl crowd came in on Friday so I think tomorrow will be the traffic day. Anyway, had all food from home. Did discover that I finally used up my stash of salsa, so did a quick recipe search and then made a three-minute salsa with a few alternates b/c I didn't have everything the recipe called for. DH said he would've never known I made it had I not said something. We had it in Mexican rice bowls so it's hard to distinguish a bunch of individual flavors. Anyway, a good recipe to have in my back pocket! I also decided today that I'm going to get certified in volunteer administration. I've been thinking about it a while and I've already got one certification in the area but this a top-level cert and it will be good for me to take this next step. I won't be applying until the next enrollment season (Oct), but I'm starting the process by borrowing supplemental reading materials and downloading free ones. I will be speaking with my supervisor later this week about the organization's ability to pay for the official textbook, test, and application fee.

A bit chillier today.   Got my big grocery shop out of the way (definitely needed cat food and litter).  Hoping to catch up on some things around the house this week, but it's also going to be a long week at work, so I may just be zapped.
