Online Opportunities: What are your favorite sites?

Some of the opportunities available today for those following a Thrift centered life are found online. Dollar Stretcher is a great resource with information on a number of topics. But there are opportunities out there for you to learn from other sites.

If you have an interest in something with a smaller following, say finding parts for a clock, or if you want to find a good, low cost, restaurant in your area of the Country, Google it. Include the words budgeting or buying for less and you will probably find information on the topic.

Do you have any favorite sites that might work for others? Would you share these with us and tell us why you find them helpful?

    Hi Lori.

Two sites I like and have proven helpful to me are www.wisebread.com and www.lifehacker.com.  Wisebread is a blog about frugal living and has many great tips on personal finance, home and personal organization, and alternative uses for everyday items.  Lifehacker is similar, but has more reviews on technology like cell phones and computer software.

They're two very thrifty websites in that they provide creative uses for things or fixes that often don't cost much.  They also promote frugal living.
