Yep, alot of subdivisions won't allow clotheslines. My late mother's retirement village did not either. they were terribly strict! Mom liked it that way LOL the spendthrift. They dictated :
1 what kind/year car you could drive (have parked in front of your home) No rust allowed. No water/oil spots on drive.
2. what your lawn looked like: how often to water and you must fertilize.
3. No gardens except directl in back of house out of sight and a tiny plot....no corn, etc. Maybe a few tomato plants. Flowers were allowed.
4. All homes in good repair and presentable. Driveways and sidewalks must be washed.
And this was a trailer park!!! Oh excuse me mobile home retirement village....no mobiles older than 15 years allowed...once it got that old you had to trade them in.
